RSS Feeds
East Ayrshire Council's RSS feeds allow you to stay up to date with the latest news from your local Council. Our feed is published through feedburner who also power our email subscription below.
What is RSS?
Wouldn't it be better to have the latest news and features delivered directly to you, rather than clicking from site to site? Well now you can, thanks to RSS.
It takes the hassle out of staying up-to-date, by showing you the very latest information that you are interested in.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
You have two options to subscribe to our news feed. The first option is to simply enter your email address below and we'll email you our latest news automatically. The second option something called a news reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. All allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.
Email Subscription
You have the option to subscribing to our news through email. Simply click the "Subscribe to" buttons at the top of the page.
Using EAC RSS feeds on your site
If you would like to use this feed to display Council News on your site the RSS feeds themselves will need to be changed (or transformed) into HTML before they can be displayed on your site. To do this you could covert the XML using scripting language such as asp. We encourage the use of EAC RSS feeds as part of a website, please see Terms & Conditions. For any advice or guidance on how to do this please contact: web.team@east-ayrshire.gov.uk
Please take a look at our RSS Terms & Conditions for further instructions. East Ayrshire Council accepts no responsibility for its RSS feeds.
