Applicants must be inhabitants of Ayrshire and can apply for financial assistance as under: Section 36 - Travel grants for individuals to enable them to travel either in Great Britain or abroad for any purpose of an educational nature. Section 38 - Special equipment to improve the efficiency of education for school pupils with special educational needs. Section 41 - Support to Clubs - to assist in the formation, maintenance and encouragement of clubs, societies and organisations for the educational benefit of children and young people in Ayrshire. Section 43 - School excursions - to defray the expenses of organised school excursions. Section 45 - Holiday Travel - for pupils in Primary or Secondary Schools or continuation classes to enable them to become members of parties organised by either North, South or East Ayrshire Councils.
